Recent Scholarship Recipients

The GCGA Foundation Awards Academic Scholarships

The Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Foundation received several applications for academic scholarships for the 2009-2010 year.  After the committee reviewed the applications, candidates were selected to be interviewed.  Based on need and the interview process three final recipients were awarded GCGA Foundation scholarships.

Stephen Hesterberg
Stephen is a recent graduate of Sycamore High School where he played varsity golf for four years. Stephen will attend DePauw University in the fall of 2009.

Abby Horne
Abby graduated this year from Wyoming High School where she played on the varsity golf team. She is planning on attending Miami University this fall to pursue a degree in accounting.

William Vance
William graduated from St. Xavier High School in 2007. He currently attends Indiana University studying exercise science with an opportunity to obtain a degree in physical therapy.
