2007 Scholarship Recipients

The GCGA Foundation Awards Two Academic Scholarships in 2007

The Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Foundation received 17 applications for academic scholarships for the 2007-2008 year.  After the committee reviewed the applications, four candidates were selected to be interviewed.  Based on need and the interview process two final recipients were awarded GCGA Foundation scholarships.

Michael Riesenberg of Cincinnati, Ohio

Michael has set his sights on a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and Turf grass management at Raymond Walter’s College. He has worked the past few summers at Maketewah Country Club on the greens crew.

Joe Landrum of Crestview Hills, Kentucky

Joe is a member of the Murray State University Men’s Golf team and is majoring in accounting. He is also the son of local PGA professional, Ralph Landrum.
