Supporting Junior Golf
Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Foundation
The GCGA Foundation was established in 1999 as the charitable arm of the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association. The Foundation was incorporated as a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation for the purpose of promoting the game of golf as an amateur and recreational sport, to promote junior golf and provide scholarships.
By incorporating as a non-profit, the Foundation is able to receive TAX-DECUCTIBLE donations in any amount from our members and any other interested individuals and companies. These donations provide the basis for the funds which are distributed to individuals in the form of scholarships, grants, and financial aid; as well as grants to various junior programs in the area.
It is the main goal of the Foundation to diligently work to provide, through financial assistance, the best opportunities for junior golf in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Through the Adrian French Memorial Scholarship Fund, financial assistance is given to both boys and girls from the Greater Cincinnati area in the form of grants, scholarships, and financial aid. Qualifiers to the Nationals USGA Boys and Girls Junior Championships receive financial assistance to help cover travel expenses.
We are very grateful for the generous continuing support of Kay French. Her kind contribution to the Scholarship Fund, named in her husband’s honor, will make it possible to continue our programs for the future.
